As busy entrepreneurs, we often get so busy in the day-to-day hustle that we forget to take a step back to reflect often enough. I provide coaching and consulting services to these busy business owners and instruct them to do just that – take time to reflect. Today, while being interviewed regarding an upcoming project, I realized that I had broken my own rule. I hadn’t taken a break to reflect in a while. An auspicious month had almost passed by without fanfare. The interviewer asked me how long Xandra Marketing had been in business, and I realized it is my company’s anniversary month.

It’s Been An Epic First Year In Business!
Marking this milestone was an important reason to pause and reflect on 365 days of Xandra Marketing’s inception and the progress myself and my team have made during this calendar turning period.

It was one year ago that I took a leap of faith. I decided to boldly leave my fruitful corporate career behind and launch forward with Xandra Marketing. It was scary and not without risk, but, without a doubt, was the best decision I’ve ever made.
I’m grateful for so many things.
One key area of gratitude is for the strong network I’ve cultivated. Having worked in marketing, sales and business development for over 20 years, I have been graced with amazing colleagues, and alliances showed up when I needed them. I feel enormously fortunate to have their unwavering support, collaboration and guidance.
Thriving in the strange year – 2020.
2020 has been a year that will go down in the history books, for sure. Many have struggled to find their bearings, understandably, during this tumultuous time. As a business that had only just opened its doors, it seemed like the worst possible thing that could have happened. I, however, felt the call to help those around me who were panicked. During this insane time period, I launched my virtual mastermind course designed to help those struggling with how to run their businesses during the shut-down and pandemic. My pivot was found in helping others hone in on their pivot.
